I turn 37 next month.
I’ll celebrate it alone in Minnesota, where I grew up and where I’ve lived for my whole life until now. Or, perhaps more accurately, until soon from now.
My wife, Hayley, has already moved to our new home in Nova Scotia, the province where she grew up. We’re together this month, settling into our new house and looking after our eight-year-old black lab mix, Duke, who requires some extra attention these days as he prepares for knee surgery.
After spending most of my career as a higher education administrator working in enrollment, marketing and communications, and executive leadership, I’m looking to find what’s next, whatever that may be.
Join me on the move from the flat, rich farmland of Minnesota to the heavily forested hills and rocky shores of Nova Scotia. I’m moving to a community called Bayview (or Bay View—even the road signs can’t seem to agree on the spelling), and I’m keeping my eyes open to wonder.
“Reflections from the edge of the continent” … so true! Look forward to following your journey.
